Timothy M. Ring, age 46, of Quincy passed away suddenly as the result of a car accident on Sunday, October 29, 2017. A lifelong South Shore resident, he graduated from Quincy Voc-Tech in 1989 and worked as a plumber and at Home Depot.

The beloved son of Louise K. (Sullivan) Ring of Quincy and the late Edward V. Ring, Timothy was the loving brother of Patricia A. Hecht and her husband Joel of Pittsfield, Karen M. Chiasson and her husband Bill of Hanover, Kathleen Ring of Quincy and the late Edward V. Ring, Jr. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Samantha, Sarah, Lily and Michael, as well as his best friend and “brother” Rich Smith of Abington.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Sunday, November 5 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
