Virginia M. (McManus) Corbett of Hingham passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at age 93. Born and raised in South Boston, she lived in Braintree for most of her life. The beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Corbett with whom she shared 72 years of marriage, Virginia was the loving mother of Thomas Corbett and his wife Terri of Abington, Michael Corbett of South Boston, Matthew Corbett of Hyannis, Nancy Burke of Pembroke, Regina Dembowski and her husband Paul of Weymouth and the late Patricia Corbett Black and Doreen Heinrich. Sister-in-law of Al Cormier, she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visiting hour from 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. on Friday, October 26 at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30A.M. at Sacred Heart Church 55 Commercial St. Weymouth Landing. Burial will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, October 29 at 12:45P.M.
