Albert N. Mosesso of Braintree, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023, after a brief illness. Albert was a veteran of World War 2 and proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Whitney as a Pharmacist Mate Third Class, in the South Pacific theater.

After his military service, Al met his future wife Angela. Together, they raised a family of seven in West Quincy. He is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline T. Grohoski and her husband Edward, Angela M. Mosesso, Lauren J. Sharp; his sons, Albert, Michael and Joseph Mosesso and his wife, Margarida. He is also survived by his brother Jack and sisters Marie Riley and Arlene Cassidy, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Albert was preceded in death by his loving wife Angela L.(Baldassini), beloved daughter Sheryl, daughter-in-law, Beverly,and son-in-law, Steven E. Sharp.

Al grew up in the Adams Shore section of Quincy where he learned to sail; he loved swimming in and being close to the ocean. Al was a Cape Codder at heart, and enjoyed spending time at his second home in Brewster. After his military service, he was a bartender alongside his brother Jack at the family owned Al’s Dine and Dance, also known as Al’s Cafe, in Quincy. After retirement, he enjoyed digging clams professionally with his brother Jack and nephew Jimmy. He took great pleasure in welcoming his precious grandchildren into his home for visits with his incredible wife, Angela.

Albert was a longtime resident at Sunrise Assisted Living in Braintree. The family is grateful for the care provided by his extended Sunrise family.

We are eternally grateful for the incredible Nursing staff of Pratt 6 at South Shore Hospital and Beacon Hospice for their compassionate care of our father.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 25th at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish- St. Mary Church, 95 Crescent Street, Quincy. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to charity’s available through South Shore Hospital and Beacon Hospice.
